Through partnerships with middle schools and high schools
Families and young people in our region need to have a comprehensive overview of the possibilities available to them for their future: what courses are available at high school? What opportunities are there for further education? How can they be sure of their future path? How can they make sense of this confusing world of career guidance?
The EUT aims to provide accurate, personalized answers to young people's questions, while also helping them discover the wide range of possibilities available to them. It has signed agreements with nearly 30 high schools in its territory and has built strong, dynamic partnerships with their teaching staff.
Through partnerships with training providers in the technology sector
The EUT is one of the players in the technological pathway, but it is not the only one. Beyond the IUTs, the technological pathway encompasses high school programs (general, technological, and vocational), BTSs, general bachelor's degrees, preparatory classes, master's degrees, schools, and doctorates.
Technology with a capital T relies on bridges between all these programs and, more specifically, strong partnerships with other fields of study at UGA.
Through partnerships with employers in our labor markets
The corporate clubs in Grenoble and Valence are powerful tools for bringing the business and academic worlds closer together. But they are not the only ones within EUT.
IUTs develop educational activities that rely heavily on the expertise of industry professionals: internships, apprenticeships, learning and assessment situations. These provide opportunities for students and employers to meet, enabling the former to become aware of their employability and the latter to promote their brand within a local area.
Being a key player in the technological field places EUT at the heart of government, regional, and local policies. IUTs and BUTs are clearly identified as key players in the agreements signed between the State and the Region to promote the technological field, but also as stakeholders in the Engineer and Technician Plan rolled out by the Region.
These institutional partnerships are essential for establishing the EUT's activities and ensuring their effectiveness and scope: they guarantee the ability to support middle and high school students in successfully entering the workforce.
