Being able to show what you do as a teacher or teacher-researcher is a pleasure that is, unfortunately, all too rare.
This observation is all the more true given that teachers and teacher-researchers are more concerned with the quality of an article or book than with promoting it. However, such work is only possible with a significant investment of time and a high level of expertise in order to produce successful teaching or research articles. The question of their necessary promotion is therefore raised.
Showing what we do to our peers, IUT partners, future students, etc. means highlighting the activities within an IUT, which are too often overlooked. Even though there are already ways of promoting these activities, particularly for teacher-researchers through scientific journals and conferences, they remain confidential and are often reserved for insider circles.
The aim here is to make educational and scientific works available to the public through book publications, contributions to popular publications, and by making them directly accessible via the EUT website.
It also shows that a university institute of technology stands on two legs: teaching and research, not to mention all the administrative staff who directly or indirectly make it possible.
It is, finally, to define in very concrete terms what a public higher education service is.
