This short presentation provides an overview of high voltage (HV) in several stages. At the intersection of electrical engineering, physics, and chemistry, the science and technology involved in electrical insulation are seeing renewed interest as fossil fuel consumption declines and the electrification of various applications increases.
Led by Pascal Rain, a professor and researcher at the G2Elab laboratory (Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory), the session will explore—through various projects—questions that have been resolved or remain unresolved across a wide range of applications.
Clear andinspiringexplanations, understandable evenwithout being an expert in the field, aimed at both our students and staff.
Bring your own sandwich—we’ll provide coffee and fruit juice at 1:00 PM at the Gambetta Library!
We hope to see many of you there!
