EUT's innovative projects

The three master plans of the EUT

Each deputy directorate of the EUT has had a master plan since the end of 2024.

Reflections on the following topics have been formalized: Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR), from the training and human resources.

These documents make it possible to gather together in one place the issues often raised by IUT staff and to imagine areas for improvement implemented year after year.

It is up to the IUTs to adopt them and use them as a tool for engaging their communities. These documents are up-to-date because they are revised every year to report on actions taken, plan for the coming year, and, if necessary, report on any amendments made to their content. They are also communication tools for the UGA supervisory authority, which can in turn draw inspiration from them and contribute new ideas.

Via Agaura

The EUT aims to bringing together learners, employers, and trainers around shared interests in its territory of operation, namely Ardèche, Drôme, and Isère.

It is not a question of bringing these players together around declarations of interest (e.g., Meetic), but rather of allowing each one to position themselves on a map of interests and identify the similarities between a student, a high school student, an employer, a training offer, a job offer, maps of the professions offered in a company, etc., using a universal language.

This project is funded by the AURA Region and the MESR and supported by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Orientation agency, parents' associations, and business networks. The platform will be available in 2025.

BUT+, a social outreach program

The EUT is a source of social inclusion program called BUT+ which is an extension ofENEPS the national school for higher vocational education), which opened in 2009.

Each yearENEPS between 70 and 90 students from vocational programs, recruited from the southeastern quarter of France. These students benefit from a split first year of the BUT program and are then integrated into the student body.

BUT+ aims to ensure the long-term future ofENEPS but also toopen up to technological fieldsThe objectives are multiple: to inform students in their orientation until they choose their field of study in Parcoursup, to support students during their first steps at the IUT through dedicated programs, and to secure their educational path by organizing a return to BTS in case of difficulty, for example. One of the ways in which these information, support, and security measures are implemented is through the "cordée de la réussite" (success rope). Three success teams, each led by an IUT, will be launched in the fall of 2024.

Data structured around orientation

The EUT aims to design information systems that enable large-scale data collection for better understand the career choices of high school and college students that it welcomes.

A research engineer is specifically dedicated to this task and will be supported by faculty members to both structure this work and produce academic knowledge.

The goal is to develop sustainable tools that will enable longitudinal tracking of cohorts: the aim is to show high school and college students the range of possibilities available to them. identifying paths to success. It is just as much about offering a comprehensive overview of these pathways to master's and school administrators in order to establish the promotion of the technological path with a capital T.

Lifelong learning in all its forms

EUT-UGA intends to develop a training program that allows for recognition of the skills of employees in the region.

The aim is to create university diplomas equivalent to bachelor's and master's degrees for those who have not had the opportunity to study. Expertise in the field of training, and more specifically in the analysis of professional activities, is required to fully accomplish this mission.
The combination of this tool and this expertise will certainly facilitate the return to education of audiences who are distant from the academic field.

In 2025, EUT will work with a contracted expert who will be able to draw on the resources of an educational science research laboratory, CCMs (centers of expertise and professions), business clubs, and EUT's institutional partners to develop and share ideas and, of course, implement this project.
