The needs of our territories are integrated into our key activities.

A territory integrated into our core activities

Through the educational facilitation of our training courses

The educational engineering of IUTs makes it possible to ensure academic excellence in the transmission of knowledge and put this knowledge to use in real or realistic professional situations.

This assertion is based very specifically on various strong indicators deployed specifically by IUTs:
  • 25% of the teaching is carried out by industry experts,
  • Students are projected into their future professional lives through learning and assessment situations that constitute a significant part of their education.
  • Industrial specialties utilize modern technological platforms,
  • All students complete long internships in companies and, for the most part, a minimum of one year of apprenticeship.

Through the management of our bodies

The professionals with expertise in the field are fully partners in the institutional life of IUTs:
  • They participate in training improvement committees, thereby ensuring that training content evolves in line with changing professional needs.
  • They also sit on the boards of the IUTs and EUT: they are involved in their institutional life and can participate in forward-looking debates and the development of strategic guidelines.

By analyzing and understanding employers' expectations

Frequently meeting professionals in a variety of circumstances allows you to get a close-up feel for how professions are evolving. This is what IUT teachers do on a regular basis through work-study programs, internships, and the development of SAés, but also what IUTs do through the work of their governing bodies.

Thanks to concerted action within the EUT, the IUTs have also set up specific services (Centers of Competence and Trades (CCM), Business Relations and Work-Study Programs (REA), and business clubs) that enable them to structure their relationships.

Large-scale annual events are also organized regularly, providing opportunities for fruitful discussions that open up new perspectives.

Through project collaborations with economic partners

Relationships with the professional world go far beyond collecting taxes and managing internships. The influence of IUTs within their universities and regions makes them key partners for developing fruitful collaborations with companies in the areas of continuing education, provision of technology platforms, and operational and even fundamental research programs.

The AMI CMA France 2030 program provided an opportunity to implement large-scale, rich projects in which IUT faculty and researchers are particularly involved. To facilitate their emergence, the EUT has also set up a "Teacher and Researcher in Business" program, which organizes the immersion of university staff in companies, thereby enabling the identification of potential new collaborations.
