The EUT office
The director is responsible for the executive governance of the EUT. He or she is assisted in this task by an office also composed of the three IUT directors, the EUT deputy directors, the IUT administrative directors, the secretary general, and the EUT executive assistant. The office meets on a weekly basis.
The EUT Council
The EUT Council is composed of:
33 elected members from the councils of the 3 IUTs,
Of the three directors ofUniversité Grenoble Alpes ofUniversité Grenoble Alpes IUTs,
From 6 external personalities,
From the Director of EUT.
The council meets in plenary and restricted sessions. It elects the EUT management (director and deputy directors). The EUT director chairs the council in its plenary session. The council decides on matters such as the strategy to be implemented, the appropriateness of partnerships, and the EUT's multi-year contract.
More specifically, it deals with issues related to training (opening, closing, and modifying training programs, voting on study regulations and MCCC) and human resources (job campaigns for teachers and teacher-researchers, promotion of teacher-researchers, etc.).
Leading EUT-UGA is an exciting and demanding challenge. The goal is to bring together IUTs on joint projects that address both their day-to-day concerns and the challenges of a world-class, research-intensive university.
A unique structure in the French academic landscape, it works on a project to integrate the challenges faced by IUTs into those of a UDICE member university, while at the same time forging close ties with employers, other academic bodies, international universities, and high schools.
As interim administrator in 2020, elected in 2021, and re-elected in 2025, I am aware that carrying this project forward with the same momentum is a unique opportunity to establish this academic component within the University of Grenoble Alpes and our region on a lasting basis.
This ambitious project is only possible thanks to a team of dedicated employees, three deputy directors, and, of course, the three directors of the IUT, without whom none of this would be possible.
My decision to join EUT-UGA in 2023 was motivated by a desire to further the IUT's ambition to professionalize and support students in their projects, and to take on the challenge of developing an innovative and specific training program through the BUT. It also gives meaning to the UGA's strategy by contributing to the creation of a unique entity in France that brings together the three IUTs of our institution: the University School of Technology.
I contribute to the definition and implementation of the component's strategic projects. I supervise and lead the administrative team, which I support on a daily basis with a constant focus on creating a working environment based on trust, listening, and collective commitment.
With 30 years of experience in higher education, I am committed to building an agile administration that works closely with teams and focuses on quality of service for users. To this end, I work with the management teams of the IUTs (University Technology Institutes) and the central management teams of the UGA (Grenoble Alpes University). I am also responsible for ensuring that the EUT (University of Technology) councils run smoothly.

Mathilde LORETZAssistant Director of Education & Student Life
Mathilde LORETZ
Assistant Director of Education & Student Life
Since January 2025, Mathilde LORETZ has been Deputy Director in charge of Training and Student Life at EUT.
With the support of the EUT operational team, she assists IUTs in implementing their training policy, developing structured educational projects, and putting in place measures to ensure student success. She also represents the three IUTs in UGA bodies, notably the "IDEX Training" and "Student Life" vice-presidencies.
A lecturer at IUT1 in the Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction department since 2008, she has held several teaching and administrative positions at IUT1 and UGA. She has also been involved in the development and management of several transformative projects at IUT1.
Claire has been responsible for supporting and coordinating the community of teachers and research professors for the three university institutes of technology since early 2025.
The main objective of her role is to support teachers and research professors in their professional development by helping them identify ways to evolve their activities. She facilitates the process of finding the resources that will enable each individual to bring an emerging project to fruition, identifies the measures to be implemented, and puts them in touch with the appropriate people or departments at the IUT or UGA.
As part of her role, she is also responsible for promoting engagement within the EUT community of teachers/researchers through initiatives that develop collaborative synergy, creating opportunities to explore new ideas, encouraging the sharing of information and best practices, and promoting innovative, "promising" initiatives with the potential to be replicated elsewhere.
Gilles' mission is to build a BUT information system for the IUTs that make up the EUT. This involves organizing the collection and analysis of data throughout the entire BUT period, from Parcoursup preferences to the future of graduates, including the three years of training.
This information system will enable, in particular:
Measuring the attractiveness of proposed BUTs
Inform the implementation of measures to support students (educational, guidance, etc.) and ensure their success.
Support the management of training offerings and provide analysis for training improvement recommendations.

Laetitia HUMBERT
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project Manager
Laetitia's main mission is to lead and monitor CSR projects carried out by EUT and its departments. Her goal is to ensure the implementation of CSR actions as outlined in EUT's CSR master plan, in close collaboration with the various stakeholders.
These actions are organized around two main areas: incorporating CSR into student training through teaching Ecological Transition for Sustainable Development (TEDS); improving the environmental and societal impact of the institutions' activities. Cross-functionality, monitoring, coordination, facilitation... it's all on the agenda!
In January 2025, Gildas BARBOT joined EUT as Deputy Director in charge of CSR and Equality.
With over 20 years of experience at IUT (Lille then Valence) and research work on the sustainability of our consumption patterns, he ensures that the functioning and training of UGA's IUTs take planetary boundaries into account. The EUT is the appropriate level for supporting and pooling CSR initiatives and initiatives to promote equality (combating sexual and sexist violence, discrimination, and harassment) carried out in our IUTs.
Aline is working on the BUT+ project, and more specifically on the LABEL+ program, alongside Stella EYMERY.
Designed in the context of the rollout of the BUT (Bachelor's Degree in Technology) and the introduction of quotas for technical high school graduates, LABEL+ aims to promote the BUT degree among high school students by offering information sessions in high schools and open house events at IUTs (University Institutes of Technology). The LABEL+ program is structured around three areas: information, support, and securing career paths.

After 17 years at IUT2, I joined EUT in 2025 to pursue a meaningful professional adventure. From the outset, I participated in the first joint events between the IUTs and in the working groups that helped shape this new structure. These experiences allowed me to witness firsthand the birth of a collective dynamic, where innovation and collaboration became concrete realities.
As a former elected member of the board of directors, I had the opportunity to accompany EUT during its early years and understand its challenges from the inside. Today, as communications officer, I am putting this knowledge to use in a new role: promoting the teams, projects, and values that make EUT so strong. Telling its story also means helping to spread the word about it.
Lucas joined EUT in September 2024 as an audiovisual production manager. He designs and produces videos to promote the actions, projects, and missions of the various stakeholders at EUT.
He works in collaboration with Thibault DOMINGUEZ on the deployment of the EUT's communication strategy, which is based on four pillars: support, technology, multidisciplinarity, and territories.
