Université Grenoble Alpes committed to social openness, as illustrated by various programs such as Ingé+, BUT+, and IEP.
One of the missions of the EUT's BUT+ team is to prepare thewelcoming future vocational baccalaureate holders in BUT notably through a "rope to success" program. This program, historically known as theENEP (National School of Higher Vocational Education), has been in existence since 2009.
Since 2024, the BUT+ team has expanded this program to technical high school graduates also drawing on the success of the "cordées de la réussite" (success teams) initiative. It is implemented within the framework of Label+ agreements, which commit secondary schools and university institutes of technology (IUTs) to joint actions to provide information, support, and security for students' educational pathways.
The overall objective is to contribute to the valuation of the technological pathway from a -4/+8 perspective and which encompasses BTS and BUT programs. To illustrate the financial commitment of our supervisory authorities in very concrete terms, the Grenoble Academy Rectorate supports the teams with €5,000 each, and UGA finances BUT+ with €400,000, a program that relies on the commitment of four staff members.
