Discover the agreements between secondary schools and IUTs (university institutes of technology)
As a headmaster, principal, head teacher, or advisor, educational psychologist, or teacher, I may be interested in implementing an agreement between my institution and a UGA IUT.
Thanks to the BUT+ program and its dedicated team, the IUTs are demonstrating their commitment to working toward technological pathway enhancement by promoting it to high school students vocational, technological, and general education streams.
The technological pathway is designed for grades 9 through 12 and encompasses both BTS (advanced vocational training certificates) and BUT (university technical degrees). It can be integrated at all levels, including high school and university.
These agreements are structured around three main areas, which are:
Provide better information to all high school students,
Supporting high school students who volunteer in developing their study plans and
Securing the paths of future students.
The goal is to jointly develop collaborative actions structured around a shared scenario that provides the right information at the right time. Talking to students in ninth, tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade requires a progressive and tailored communication approach that encourages them to engage in self-reflection.
