Supporting businesses

The EUT and its three IUTs have set up tools and services dedicated to supporting businesses: business clubs, continuing education, and work-study program management.

Corporate clubs

The UGA's IUTs have set up two business clubs, one for Drôme and Ardèche, and the other for Isère. These clubs aim to bridge the gap between the academic world and the professional world.

Promoting the employer brand of economic partners to students, meeting with IUT management and teachers in a privileged setting, actively participating in IUT life, visiting companies... these are just a few examples of the initiatives made possible by staff dedicated to these missions.

These clubs help strengthen ties between stakeholders in the same region in the interests of future professional collaborators, namely IUT students.

Continuing education services

Through their continuing education services, Competence and Trade Centers (CCM), and business clubs, the UGA's IUTs offer a wide range of resources for establishing and maintaining high-quality, in-depth relationships with their professional partners.

If you wish, your staff's continuing education can be part of a global partnership approach. The CCMs can help you define your project, the business clubs can incorporate it into an agreement, and the continuing education services can facilitate its organization. The value of a continuing education program is measured more by the quality of the partnership formed than by its cost.

Work-study program management

The reform of the BUT has led to a significant increase in apprenticeship activity within the IUTs. Today, nearly 1,700 contracts are signed each year between the IUTs and local businesses.

The IUTs have made every effort to facilitate management through their Skills and Professions Centers (CCM) and their Business Relations and Work-Study Programs (REA) departments. Beyond the necessary quality of contractual relationships, the challenge is to work together to provide our students with the best possible training in order to facilitate their entry into the workforce.

Your participation in our degree program improvement committees provides an opportunity to ensure the ongoing relevance of our programs.
